Warlingham Flute Band
63rd Annual Concert – Saturday 12th March 2016
At 7.30pm in the Warlingham Chruch Hall, 399 Limpsfield Road, Warlingham Surrey CR6 9HA
Warlingham Flute Band are holding their 63rd Annual Concert in the Church Hall, Warlingham at 7.30pm on Saturday 12th March 2016. Tickets will be available on the door or telephone 01 883 624 512. Tickets cost £8. Refreshments and a programme are included in the price.
Our conductor, Judith Koral, will be taking the band to the wild side. We will have various animals flitting past the stage and we will be visiting a variety of interesting locations. This year’s programme includes tunes from film and television, lively marches, light classical and popular pieces all arranged for six part flute harmony.
As last year we will be fundraising in support of Help for Heroes. We will have a table of interesting merchandise which can be purchased before the concert or in the interval. Please be generous.
The band was formed in 1932 as the Warlingham Scout Troop Band. Things have now moved on and we have no formal connection with the Scout Association. We are open to anyone of almost any age who is interested in our music. We meet for rehearsal in Warlingham on a Wednesday evening from 7.30 to 9.30pm.
We look forward to seeing you at our concert on Saturday 12th March.
